In the Albanian region Vlorë in the middle of the mountanian coastline before the roads lead you into the mountains there is a village Gjilekë. In the month of May 2019 this beach was special because there was a fighter jet directly on the beach. Like the neighbouring village it also has a very long beach which is called Plazhi Drymades. It is made of fine gravel and is 2 kilometres long and up to 50 metres wide. This place is easy to reach with your vehicle you and you can park beside the road directly on the beach. When going to swim you have a very nice water entry and you can start swimming almost immediately. A lot of beach infrastructure is here with lots of services. Accommodation is also available directly at the beach mostly in the form of apartments, rooms and hotels, some resorts are also here present. And if you like to camp, you even have this option available here.
