The first beach you will encounter when driving up the coastline from south to the north part of Albania in the region Vlorë, after you cross the seaside mountains and drive down the 1000 metres high mountain pass, is the beach in the small town Orikum. The beach is a few kilometres long and up to 40 metres wide. To park your vehicle, also motorhomes, here is not a problem, you simply leave your car beside the road. The main surface is fine gravel mixed with sand. The water entry here is very nice and swimming starts at around 10 metres. Along the whole stretch of the beach you have many restaurants and beach bars and so are also the beach services available around those spots. Because of a few hotels directly on the beach you can also plan to stay here for your holidays.
