Although Belgium has only got are short coastline with the north sea, it has quite a variety of beaches. The sandy beach Strand Zeebrugge is recommended for families and for all those ones who like very flat and very wide beaches. Families with small children will especially love this beach, because you have a children playground on it and this very shallow water is very safe for children to play in it safely. It is located in the region West-Vlaanderen and belongs to the city Brugge. This location is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle and you simply park directly at the beach beside the road. It is a several kilometres long beach and at low tide it is around 500m wide. With such characteristics the water entry is very nice but the point of swim is far out away. You have all the essential beach infrastructure here, also restaurants and beach bars. And if you would like to stay here for longer, on the beach directly you can book a hotel or stay in an apartment.
