Welcome to the Danish city Assens. On the island Funen, you can visit a sandy beach called Strand Assens, which is located just next to the Harbour. This beach is located in the region Syddanmark and is very easy accessible with any kind of vehicle, and you also have plenty of options to park there. The closest parking is only 30 m away from the beach, others are a little bit further away. Although the main surface on the beach is sand, you also have some stones mixed within. The length of the beach is 500m and it's more than 100 m wide. The surface here is very flat. The water entry from the beach is not as comfortable, because of the large stones in the water, but you can use the ladder from the pier to get into the water. The point of swim is at 10m. Some beach infrastructure is available here, more is available in the marina. Restaurants are not available here and the closest accommodation for your stay is in a camp nearby.
