Welcome to the beach Sønderborg Strand. The South Danish city Sønderborg, which is located on the island Als and has a coastline on the Baltic Sea, has a nice sandy beach, suitable for families, located not far away from the centre of the city. The whole area belongs to the region Syddanmark. It's easy to get to this location with any kind of vehicle and you have multiple options to park your vehicle. A parking place is located directly in front of the beach; some are a little bit far away. The access to the beach is very easy and you have 200m of length and up to 50 m of width available. The water entry is very nice and the point of swim starts already at 10 metres. You also have an option to go to the water by water stairs from a pier. Some beach infrastructure is located directly on the beach, as well some fast food and ice cream kiosk.
