The German Baltic Sea region, which starts with the border to Poland, offers you some astonishing sandy beaches. The beach in the city Zempin, which is located in the region Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is a typical German beach, where you have many beach sectors to choose from. On some parts you can access the beach with your dog, on some parts it is obligatory to wear textile and on some you can even be nude. For the ones who like a little bit of WWII history, here you can see, hidden in the woods, but very good accessible, the launching ramps for the V1 german rocket. This place is very easy accessible with any kind of vehicle, accept motorhomes. It will take you some 300m to reach the beach. The beach has a total length of several kilometres and is 50 m wide. To access the beach you need to pay 2.5 € for the bathing tax. The water access is very easy and comfortable and the point of swim is at around 30 m. You have lots of beach services available here, a children playground is located directly on the beach. Many restaurants, fast food kiosks and ice cream shops are located as well here. Accommodation is available in many forms, predominantly as apartments, but you can also rent a house, stay in a hotel and even in a camp.
