Paralia Ierissoú

Welcome to the beautiful Greek fine gravel beach Paralia Ierissou. The Halkidiki Peninsula is full of nice beaches. In the town of Ierissos there is a very long beach, more than 1 km long, which is made of sand and partly of small and very small stones. Maximum width of the beach is 25 metres and the beach has a normal inclination. The water drops here quite quickly; you can start swimming already after 5 metres after entering the water. It is recommended for families. Parking, for all kind of vehicles, also motorhomes, is available directly in front of the beach. Next to the beach there is a camping place and in the front of the camping a large parking place. The beach infrastructure is on a high level and around the beach there are many beach bars and a lot of options for accommodation. The total list of beach infrastructure is very long. If you own a dog, you are allowed to bring him with you to the beach. Children can play on the children playgrounds, and the ones who like to be sporty, they can exercise on some sport fields. On the beach there is also a pier from which you can jump into the water or go catch some fish.
