Paralia Portes
The beach Portes is one of the longest sandy beaches in Greece. It's more than 10 kilometres long, and offers many different options to spend your day on the beach. Because it is located on the peninsula Chalkidiki, more precisely on the beginning of the Kassandra peninsula, you can be sure that you will get a very unique beach experience. The Chalkidiki peninsula is for the beaches like a quality seal. It's definitely suitable for motorhome owners as well for families and for those who love to have some peace on the beach. The road to the beach is mostly made of dirt and you need to drive more kilometres to reach your preferable place, but you can of course stop earlier. On some part of the beach there are beach bars, but on the most length of the beach there is no tourist infrastructure. So some places have some beach infrastructure but most have zero. Accommodation is also available behind the beach but mostly in the type of apartment or free rooms. The beach width is only 10 metres, beach inclination is normal, water entry is comfortable and you can already start to swim away after three meters. If you own a dog, he is welcome here, like anywhere else on Greece beaches. Next time when you are searching for another quality beach try out our advanced BeachRex filter, you will be amazed how quickly it will show you the right beach for you. We wish you a great beach experience.
