The Moto of this Dutch beach, called Zilverstrand is: "keep it simple". It is located in the region Flevoland near the city Almere on the shorelines of the Lake Gooimeer. It is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle, also with a motorhome and you can park on a very large parking place some 200 m away from the beach. The access to the beach is easy. On the beach the main surface is sand, but you also have some grass fields. The total length is 750 m and it is 50 m wide. It is a flat beach with a shallow water, which makes the water entry very nice and creates the point of swim at 40 m. On the beach you have only some basic beach infrastructure, like toilets and showers.
