In the Netherlands you not only have beautiful beaches on the Atlantic or the west coastline with the North Sea, you also have many ones on the numerous lakes located all over the land. One such beach, Harderstrand Noord, it is a sandy beach, is located on the shores of the lake Veluwemeer. If you would like to have such a lake beach experience, we recommend you to visit it. This location is easy to access with any kind of vehicle, and you have two options to park your car, either on a small parking place or by the road. It will take you a maximum of 50 m of walking to reach the beach. The beach area is very flat, it is 400 m long and 50m wide. The water entry is nice and the swimming point is at 20 m. The beach infrastructure here is only basic. No restaurants are available directly on the beach but in its vicinity.
