In the Dutch region Noord-Holland, usually when you go to the beach you need to take into account that you would have to walk at least 300 m to 500m before you reach the beach from your parking place. But this is not the case on the beach Strand Egmond aan Zee, which is located in the city with the same name. Here it will take you only 50 m from your vehicle to get to the beach. The beach is made of sand, like this is the case on the whole west coastline. It is very easy accessible with any kind of vehicle and you can park beside the road very close to the beach. The access is easy. This sandy beach has a total length of several kilometres and is 75 m wide. It has a normal inclination, but close to the water it gets quite flat. Together with the shallow water you have a nice water entry. The point of swim is far out away. Many beach infrastructure is located here, on the beach itself you also have different restaurants. Accommodation is also available in the vicinity and it comes in different forms and types.
