On the shores of the Dutch lake IJsselmeer in the region Noord-Holland, close to the city Enkhuizen, you have a sandy beach, which goes by the name Strand Enkhuizerzand. It is a family type beach with parking places only 50 m away. It is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle, also motorhomes have enough space here. The path to the beach is easy. The main surface is sand, but you also have some enormous grass fields. 200 Metres is the total length of the beach and it is 20 m wide. With the grass field added to the width it's even more wider. The water entry is nice and because of the shallow water the point of swim is far out away, at more than 100 m. Some basic beach infrastructure is located here, a small children playground included. Restaurants are not available on the beach but in the vicinity.
