Because of the very flat beach surface and the shallow water, this sandy beach Strand Hargen aan Zee is very popular amongst the watersports enthusiast and the ones who need a flat surface for the sport activities on the beach, like horse riding or driving wind buggy. But be aware that all those activities are allowed outside the main beach season. It is located in the Dutch region Noord-Holland, close to the city Schoorl. It is very easy to reach it with any kind of vehicle and you have a very large parking place only 200 meters away from the beach. The access to the beach is an easy one, a concrete path is laid there. It is a several kilometers long beach and more than 100 m wide. Because of the flat area the water entry is very nice but the swimming point is very far out away at more than 100 m. All the essential beach infrastructure is located here, you also have a restaurant on the beach. Accommodation is not available on the beach or in the surrounding area.
