The Dutch sandy beach Strand Breskens is located on a very special place. Here it is the point where the north sea and the river Scheldt meet. The influence of north sea and on the other side of the river have created a very nice and beautiful sandy beach which is admired by many tourists and beach visitors. This sandy beach is located in the city Breskens and belongs to the region Zeeland. It is very easy to get here with any kind of vehicle and you can park beside the road only 50 m away from the beach. You have two options to access the beach, either by the stairs or by a paved path. The total length of the beach is 1 km and it is more than 100m wide. Towards the sea it gets a little bit more steep. The water entry is nice and the point of swim is dependent upon low tide or high tide, but it should be around 40 m. All the essential beach infrastructure is located here, a children playground included and some sport fields. A restaurant and a beachbar are as well present here. Accommodation is also available in the city in many different forms.
