Close to the Dutch city Den Haag, there is probably one of the most famous sandy beaches in the Netherlands, the seaside resort Scheveningen. It is a very touristic place and will fulfill probably all your touristic needs, wishes and pleasures. The region where this beach, called Noorderstrand, is located is Zuid-Holland. If you're a fan of such touristic places and you would like to visit it, you can arrive with any kind of vehicle and there are numerous options to park. The closest one you can get with a vehicle is only 50 m away from the beach and some are a little bit more further away, but no matter where you park you have plenty of spaces. The access to the beach is very easy and you have many entry points along the whole stretch of the beach. It is a very flat beach with a very large beach area. The whole length is several kilometres and the maximum width is 200 m. The water entry is very nice and the swimming point is at around 30 m. This beach has also a special characteristic for creating waves, which is in favour for the surfers. A lot of surf schools, renting equipment shops and surf shops are located here. This beach and the surrounding area is also known for casinos and for a real party atmosphere. The beach infrastructure and the services are on the highest level and will please all your demands. Restaurants and beach bars are available in all possible forms, shapes and types you can imagine. Accommodation is also available near the beach, predominantly in hotels and apartments.
