The Dutch region Zuid-Holland has many beautiful beaches, most of them on the west coastline by the North Sea, but you can also find some sandy beaches on lakes, like the beach Strand Hellecat. It is recommended for families and is located close to the city Hellevoetsluis. You can access this location with any kind of vehicle and a parking place is located very close to the beach, only a few metres away. The total length of the beach is 500 metres and it is 50 metres wide. The beach has a normal inclination and a very nice water entry. The point of swim is already at 5 m. On the beach you have all the essential beach infrastructure, a lifeguard included. A beach bar and a restaurant are as well on the beach.
