Netherlands has really some unique beaches. There are not many places in the world where you could go on a sandy beach almost in the middle of the world's biggest harbour, in Rotterdam. This beach is recommended for an adventurer beach user type, you have here almost no beach infrastructure, no restaurants and of course also no accommodation. The beach is several kilometres long and more than 100 m wide. It has a nice water entry and the point of swim is at around 50 m.
