Strand Bunken

Strand Bunken is a very special Danish beach, with very large dunes, a very large parking place and is best suitable for an adventure user type. Located in the North Danish region Nordjylland, close to the town Ålbæk, it is a beach which is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle. Once you have parked your vehicle it will take you some 200m of walking to reach the beach. You need to walk over some small dunes, between 5 and 10 m height. It's not the easiest way but if you're fit enough you can make it. Most of the beach infrastructure is located by the parking place. The beach is very long, several kilometres and up to 15m wide. The water entry is very nice and the point of swim is at around 40 m. Bring some food with you, because here you can't buy any. The only available accommodation nearby is a camp, other types are not available.
