Skagen is a danish city on the north most point in Denmark. It is a very interesting place because here two seas meet. On one side you have the Baltic Sea on the other you have the North Sea. Lots of sandy beaches are located around this point. Most of them are family oriented and are very easy to reach. The same is also true for the beach Strand Damstederne, which is located a little bit outside the city Skagen. This north point of Denmark is part of the region Nordjylland. This location is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle and you can park almost directly at the beach on a small parking place. The beach is only 50 m away. On this point the beach is several km long and up to 20 m wide. The water entry is very nice and the swimming point is at 10 metres. The beach infrastructure is located around the parking place and it is a typical danish standard. Because this beach is located in a more remote area you don't have any restaurants or accommodation nearby, but some are a few kilometres away in the city Skagen.
