If you want to feel some Olympic Greek spirit, you should visit this sandy beach paralia Olympiada in the east part of the region Kentraki Makedonia. The town where this beach awaits you is called Olimpiada. The access to the beach is very easy and you can park almost directly in front of the beach, only a few metres away, motorhomes are also welcomed. The main beach surface is sand and it stretches for 750 metres in length and 30 metres in width. Beach inclination is normal and you can start swimming already at 5 metres, the depth increases really fast. Natural shadow in the form of trees is not available here, but you can rent some parasols. The beach surrounding is quite touristic, not too much, like a small tourist town, so you can expect to have some tourist services available around. Beach infrastructure is enormous; you have many beach services available. Of course here are many sport fields as well some children playgrounds. A park with lots of grass is also near the beach. Beach bars and restaurants are either on the beach available or closebye, at most 50 metres away from the beach.
