Paralia Sikia

This beautiful sandy beach, called Paralia Sikia is located on the peninsula Sithonia in the region Kentriki Makedonija. Being part of the Khalkidhiki peninsula means it certainly one of the most amazing and most beautiful beaches in Greece. It's a very long sandy beach with a very large parking space, which you reach by a dirt road. You can park directly on the beach, total freedom, this fact makes Greece very unique, when we compared to other countries, where the parking regime is very strict. Of course you can also leave your motorhome on the beach, some even stay overnight. It is a family beach, but it is not suitable for the very small children, the water gets deep too fast. The whole beach area is very big, the beach itself is more than 1000 metres long, 100 metres wide and the beach inclination is slightly increased. Because of the increased slope angle the point of swim is already at 3 metres. Some beach infrastructure is present here as well. You will find all the essential amenities here, as well as children playgrounds, some sport fields, one of them a tennis ground, a volleyball ground and a basketball field. If you like all these beach features you will also find some accommodation here, some camps and apartments are available in the background of the beach.
