Strand Göhren
The island Rügen is famous for its sandy beaches. This one is no exception, it's a real beauty and additionally on some occasions you can even see some seals. To reach it you need to head towards the city Göhren which is located in the German region Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is very easy to reach it with any kind of vehicle, and you can park only 100 meters away from the beach. The total length of the beach is more than 1 km and it can be up to 20 meters wide. The water entry is very nice and comfortable and swimming starts at around 30 meters. Beach infrastructure is only basic but on some spots you have a little bit more of it, so head there if you are not fine with little beach infrastructure. For accommodation you have several options like apartments and hotels. Food and drinks are not available on the beach, except on the more touristic spots.
