Germany has on the Baltic Sea many beautiful Islands. In the region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern there is a small island with two beaches. The name of the island is Poel and you can access it via a bridge. The beach Strand Timmendorf is a sandy beach, 1 km long and up to 50 m wide. A large parking place awaits you some 400 m away from the beach where you have a few hundred parking places at your service. Motorhomes can also park on this spot on a separate parking place. On the beach the water entry is very nice and the starting point for swimming is at around 50 metres. On the beach and around the beach you have many beach services at your disposal. Just next to the beach you also have a small harbour. You won't get hungry or thirsty on this beach, many options zo get something to eat are available. A very large autocamp is just next to the beach as well as other accommodation options.
