Strand Ahlbeck
One of the very first beaches you will encounter on the far north east site of Germany, just next to the border with Poland, is the beautiful white sand beach called Strand Ahlbeck. It is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle. You have lots of parking spaces here. Parking can not be done directly at the beach but some 100m away for the cars and around 400 m away for the motorhomes. The total length of the beach is a few kilometres and it is around 100 metres wide. The point of swim at around 30 m. It is best suitable for families. Dogs are not allowed during the summertime, but only in other seasons. You have lots of beach infrastructure here and many restaurants, beach bars and fast food points. Accommodation is available directly at the beach in the form of apartments and hotels.
