Most of the German beaches have sand as their main surface. If you are searching for another type, like small pebbles, we recommend you to visit the beach Strand Bojendorf. It is located in the North German region Schleswig-Holstein on the very famous island Fehmarn. This location is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle, motorhomes included, and you can leave your vehicle only 200m away from the beach. The beach has a total length of several kilometres and is 25m wide. The water entry is very nice and comfortable and you can already start swimming after 10 m after entering the water. It is obligatory to pay a beach tax of 2.5€ for an adult per day. Some beach services are available here, but more or less they are basic. Around the parking you also have a shop and a bistro, a children playground is also located there.
