Strand Burgtiefe
The north German island Fehmarn, located in the region Schleswig-Holstein is full of beautiful beaches. The name of this beauty, which is several kilometres long and more than 100 m wide is Strand Burgtiefe. To get to this island you can use a bridge, with no charges. Many parking places, also for motorhomes are located here and it takes you only 100m to go to the beach. The access to the beach is not free, you need to pay a beach tax of 2.5€. The water entry is very nice here and you can start swimming already after 20 m. Many beach services are available along the whole stretch of the beach, you can also rent a german type of sunbed called the Strandkorb. You also have many options to get something to drink or to eat at the numerous restaurants and bars. Accommodation is not a problem here, you have many options, also a hotel and an apartment complex.
