This certainly must be one of the most unique beaches in whole Greece. The whole surrounding, the swamp, the way the beach is formed and shaped, the crystal clear water lagoon and the mountains and rocks surrounding it is one of a kind in the whole world. To have this experience by yourself you need to go to the Greek peninsula Peloponnese and head for the region Peloponnisos and then to the village Paleokastro. The whole site is easy to reach by a vehicle and you can leave your transportation 100 meters away from the beach on a dirt park place. The each is made of sand and it is 750 meters long and up to 20 meters wide. The slope is on some places quite steep on some normal. The whole bay is quite shallow which means that the point of swim starts at around 50 meters. You don't have any beach infrastructure here, no accommodation and no beach bars or restaurants, which makes the beach more suitable for the ones seeking quiet and peace beach holidays.
