Families with small children will also enjoy this place, not only is the water shallow and safe for play, you also have a children playground on the beach. This sandy beach is located close to the village Mirns in the region Friesland. If you would like to visit this location you can come here with any kind of vehicle and a large parking place, only 100m away from the beach, is waiting for you. The access to the beach is easy and when you get there at first you have a large grass field and then the sandy beach. Altogether the beach has a length of 200 m and is on the widest sandy spot 20 wide. With the grass field aded, the width gets even larger. Because of the shallow water the water entry is nice and the swimming point is at more than 100 m. This beach is out in the nature which means the beach infrastructure and services are only basic. But you have a restaurant and a coffee bar next to the beach as well as a campsite and some apartments for your accommodation nearby.
