If you're travelling down the west coast line of Netherlands, from the north to the south, you have a very nice sandy beach, called Strand Rotonde, right before the Pijlerdam in the Dutch region Zeeland. The closest city is Burgh-Haamstede, but the beach is located closer to the village Westenschouwen. It is a family type beach, which is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle. You have 100m away from the beach a very large parking place, motorhomes are also welcomed. To access the beach you need to cross a 10 metre high dune, which can be done by very steep stairs. Once you're on the beach you have a beach area with immense proportions available. The total length is several kilometres and it is more than 100 m wide. Towards the sea the beach gets more flat and together with the shallow water you have a very nice beach entry. The point of swim is located some 50 m away. All the essential beach infrastructure is located directly on the beach. You also have many different restaurants and beach bars either located on the beach or by the parking place. Accommodation is available in the vicinity in the form of apartments and as a camp.
