Strand Vuurtorenpad
If you're searching for a Dutch sandy beach with beautiful dunes in the middle of pure nature, more than 20 m in height, we recommend you to visit the beach Strand Vuurtorenpad. It's located in the region Zeeland, close to the city Burgh-Haamstede. You can arrive here with any kind of vehicle and the parking places are available beside the road. To access the beach you need to take into account the 500 m walk on a concrete path with 20 m in height difference, first to the top of the dune and then down towards the beach. It is a nice walk and you will enjoy the view. Once you're on the beach you have a very large beach area with several kilometres of length and more than 100m of width. The beach has a normal inclination but it gets more flat towards the sea. The water entry is very nice and the point swim is at around 20 m. Beach infrastructure is only basic but you have a restaurant and a beach bar directly on the beach. Accommodation is available only in the surrounding area of the parking place mostly in the form of apartments.
