Strand Oostende
If you're searching for a Belgian sandy beach with immense proportions, like several kilometres of length, 200 m of width at high tide, and even more at low tide, then we are suggesting you to visit the beach Strand Oostende. It is located in the city Oostende, which is part of the region West-Vlaanderen, and has a coastline with the north sea. It is very easy to get here with any kind of vehicle and you can simply park by the road only 50 m away from the beach. The beach is very easy to access, also for handicapped people. All the essential beach infrastructure is available here, many different restaurants included. The beach is quite flat, which makes the water enter very nice and the point of swim is it around 40 m. Some sport fields are available here and a surf renting shop. Many apartments and hotels are available directly on the beach, much more or in the surrounding area.
