If your plan to visit the German Baltic seaside, and you love beautiful sandy beaches with an astonishing view this beach has got to be on your list. It goes by the name Strand Sellin and it is famous for its legend and very beautifu pier. It is located in a city with the same name in the German region Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on the famous German island Rügen. It is very easy to reach with any kind of vehicle and you can leave your car beside the road or on some public parking places. It takes you around 200 meters to reach the beach from the parking place if you are able to park the closest to the beach, some are more further away. You have several options to access the beach, either by stairs, with a lift or by a small road. The height difference is 25 meters. The beach main surface is sand, the beach is 500 meters long and has a widness of 75 meters. Access into the water is very nice and comfortable and because of the flat water the swimming point is at around 40 meters. A lot of beach infrastructure is located here, you also have many restaurants and similar catering in the whole surrounding. Accommodation is also not a problem here, here you have plenty of hotels and apartments to choose from.
