The North German beach, located on the Baltic Sea, Strand Schilksee is a family type beach with a sandy surface. It is located near the town Kiel. The region where the beach is located is called Schleswig-Holstein. If you're travelling with a car or a motorhome this location is easy to reach. A very large parking place awaits you nearby the beach. It takes you some 300 meters of walking to get from the parking to the beach. The beach has a total length of 1 kilometre and can be up to 40 meters wide. The water entry is very nice and you can start swimming already after 15 meters. Near the beach you have a harbour and some beach infrastructure with many beach services. A restaurant and a coffee bar are also nearby.
