In the north German region Schleswig-Holstein, you have lots of camping grounds. Some are far away from the beach, but some are very close. If you are searching for the last one, we recommend you to visit the beach Strand Schashagen. To get to this place is very easy and you have multiple options to park your vehicle, also a motorhome. To access the beach, you either go to the camp or you use a large parking place some 200 meters away from the beach. On the beach you have one kilometre of beach length and up to 40 meters of width. A boat ramp is also available here. The inclination on the beach is between normal and steep. On most part of the beach the water entry is nice on some places you have some stones in the water. The point of swim is at around 15 meters. Some beach services are available here, but they are more or less only basic.
