When I usually write about beaches, or when you read about them, we have this typical dream beach in our minds. A beach, where you can't get your pulse above the sleeping level.
Do you wanna fall in love on 250 million years old beaches?
The French Riviera or Cote d'Azur. You probably wonder, why this name sounds so familiar, why you hear about this part of the world.
The first throne was occupied in 2011. Not the throne of the city of Dubrovnik, but the throne in Game of Thrones.
I bet every one of us has a little bit of an adventurous soul hidden somewhere inside. Are you the kind of person that likes untouched, empty beaches, far away from the noises of civilization? You know that this is the place where you will really manage to rest, turn off the modern world, and be one with nature.
Together, but apart
The Mediterranean can be fun and interesting, don’t you think so? Let’s see. The coast is 46.000 km, over 28.000 miles, long. The sea touches three continents, 21 countries and has countless beaches. Everyone can find a beach for themselves. And some are really special.
Well, not literary. And not anymore, but it used to be. They had quite a few explosions back in the days. Why, you may ask? Because they made dynamite here.
Are you a sandy beach person? Do you like to build castles, play beach volleyball, maybe take long romantic walks, see your footsteps being washed away by the sea? If you like feeling sand on your body, you should definitely visit the Italian seashore.
I have seen many beaches, but there are a few that hold a special place in my heart. They are so unique, so beautiful and rare. They are almost magical and they take your breath away.
Sounds a bit farfetched, doesn’t it? Let’s just say that fetching will play a role in this story.
Beaches are not always just a place to relax. Sometimes you have to work to get there, and sometimes you need to have the guts, too.
Since I was a little boy, I always enjoyed being on the beach. I loved all the beach activities; building castles, swimming, fishing and diving for beautiful shells. I think that my love for beach comes from my parents, who were also beach enthusiasts. It was normal for us that we went on the seaside and enjoy the sun. And I enjoyed every minute of it. I simply loved the sea!
The sun, the sand and the sea… For me these are the best three words in the world. Do you feel the same? Can you share my passion? As far as I am concerned it is logical. Over 70 percent of our planet’s surface is water. We can’t survive without water. And around 60 percent of our body is water, so no wonder we get all tingly when thinking about the sea.
Follow your dreams. Be true to yourself and your mission in life. Everything in life is an experience. Do not fear new experiences, because they are the core of our souls.
